Before Fairmont State
- Four-year letterwinner and standout at Fairmont High School in Kettering, Ohio

- Also shot 80 percent from the charity stripe and made seven threes in a game twice during her junior season
- During her four seasons at FHS, Etter averaged 11.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per game, scoring a career-high 26 points in a game
- Was named to the Dayton/Cincinnati "Top 100" list and earned Dayton/Cincinnati postseason All-Star accolades following her senior season
- Also earned Under Armour All-America honors in 2015 and was named to the USJN All-Star Team
- Helped lead Fairmont High School to back-to-back sectional and regional championships in 2014 and 2015
- Also led the Wolves Elite AAU team to eight-straight state championships
