Amanda Ruffner enters her first seasons as an assistant coach on Steve McDonald’s staff at Fairmont State after wrapping up her highly successful playing career with the Falcons last season.
 
Ruffner, a three-year starter and two-time All-MEC standout, finished her career in 17th place in school history with 1,235 career points while wearing the maroon and white. Ruffner earned first team All-MEC honors following the 2016-17 season, after scoring 518 points during the year.
 
Ruffner also ranks second in school history with a career field goal percentage of .555 during her four seasons (473-852).
 
Ruffner also earned second team All-MEC honors in 2015-16.
