Before Fairmont State- Member of the basketball and soccer teams at Ontario High in Manfield, Ohio
- Helped lead the soccer team to their first-ever state tournament appearance (20-1-1 record)
- Named the teams offensive player of the year and earned second team all-conference honors in soccer
- Also earned team MVP and the best defensive player award as a member of the basketball team
- Named first team all-conference in basketball
- Was the basketball teams top free-throw shooter and helped lead team to a sectional championship as a freshman
- Also a member of the Golden Girls at Ontario High

- Her sister, Lauren, was a member of the volleyball team at Bethel College
