As A Junior (2016)
- Was a workhorse for the Falcons, filling the stat sheet nightly
- Appeared in 35 matches and 126 sets
- Finished fourth on the team in kills (243), fourth in assists (24), second in service aces (29) and fourth in digs (321) as a junior
- Also chipped in 38 total blocks (two solo)
- Reached double-figure kills in eight matches, including a career-high 13 kills in three matches
- Had double-digit digs in 19 matches, including a career-high 19 against Shepherd (10/4)
- Had seven double-double performances (kills/digs)
- Had a career-high five aces in a home match against Urbana (9/30)
- Set a new career-high with 13 kills to go along with 12 digs against Seton Hill (9/17)
- Matched that career-high with 13 kills and 18 digs against WV Wesleyan (9/23) during Fairmont’s next match

As A Freshman (2014)
- Appeared in 57 sets and 27 matches as a freshman
- Tallied 112 digs playing primarily as a defender

- Tallied a season-high four aces vs. Bowie State (9/6)
- Chipped in a season-high 15 digs against Concord at home (9/16)
- Totaled 14 digs and three kills at Charleston (10/10)
Before Fairmont State
- Four-year standout at Joliet Catholic Academy in Illinois
- Led Joliet to three regional championships and a pair of tournament championships in the Geneva Tournament
- Four-time medalist at the JVA World Challenge (two gold, two silver)
- Also won the President’s Day Tournament twice and the National Junior Classic
- Helped lead Joliet to 25+ wins in each of her seasons
- Ranked second on her team in kills and led the Joliet Area in aces and service points during her junior season
- Led team to national ranking during junior season
- Earned team MVP, all-conference, all-area and all-tournament team honors during senior season
- Topped the school leaderboard in both kills and aces
- Selected to play in the Sportstown Chicago Senior Showcase

- Daughter of John and Lynne Shemaitis
- Has a younger brother (Daniel)
- Father played college basketball at Kent State and St. Francis and mother played volleyball at St. Francis
- Member of National Honors Society, National Latin Honors Society, served as vice president of Latin Club and was a four-year member of student council in high school
