WHEELING, W.Va. -- After falling behind 18-4 early in the first half, Jamel Morris sank 33 points to help Fairmont State rally past Wheeling Jesuit, 75-69, on Thursday evening at Wheeling's McDonough Center.

With the victory, FSU improves to 8-5 overall and 5-2 in the Mountain East.

The Falcons shot 42 percent from the floor and knocked down 10-of-22 three-point attempts in the come-from-behind victory. The Cardinals sank 45 percent of their field goal attempts and held a 39-31 advantage on the glass.

WJU turned the ball over 20 times compared to just 11 for the Falcons. FSU scored 22 points off turnovers in the victory.

Morris went 11-of-22 from the field and 6-of-10 from behind the arc and added five rebounds in the victory. Nick Harney chipped in 19 points on 8-of-14 from the field and had a team-high nine boards for the Falcons.

Justin Fritts led Wheeling Jesuit with 17 points, four rebounds and four assists. Eric Seifert chipped in 14 points and nine rebounds for the Cardinals.

The Falcons will now travel to Athens for a 4 p.m. tip against Concord on Saturday afternoon.
