WHEELING, W.Va. -- Sixth-ranked Wheeling Jesuit swept the season home-and-home with Fairmont State by picking up a 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-21) victory at home on Saturday afternoon.
Mackenzie Harrison and
Erin Harwood paced FSU in the match with 13 kills apiece in the match.
Courtney Kress also added eight kills and did not record an attacking error over the weekend.
Jessica Furda led FSU with 35 assists and
Megan Clerico recorded a team-best 15 digs.
Kayce Krucki and Emma Schleucher tallied 14 kills apiece to lead the Cardinals in the three-set victory. Andrea Thobe passed out a team-high 45 assists and three WJU players recorded 13 digs.
FSU will travel to Seton Hill on Tuesday evening for an important Atlantic Region matchup. The match is set for 7 p.m.
