GREENSBURG, Pa. -- Fairmont State picked up a critical non-conference victory over Seton Hill University, 3-0, on Tuesday evening to counter an early season loss to the Griffins at the West Liberty Crossover in September.

The senior trio of
Courtney Kress,
Kaitlyn Witsaman and
Erin Harwood each recorded 13 kills to lead the Falcons in the victory. Harwood also recorded five of Fairmont's six aces in the win.
Mackenzie Harrison and
Breanna Blot also chipped in on the offensive attack for FSU with nine kills apiece.

Sophomore setter
Jessica Furda tallied a match-high 50 assists and 12 digs to lead the FSU offense. Libero
Megan Clerico led FSU with 17 digs.

Rachel Satira (16) and Katie Wenson (11) each recorded double-figure kills for the Griffins. Maggie Murray passed out 41 assists at the setter position for Seton Hill and Lauren Teed tallied 20 digs.

Both teams combined for just six blocks in the match and each offense had an attacking percentage over .360 on the evening. FSU held a 6-1 advantage in aces.

FSU will play five of its final six matches of the season at home, starting with Friday evening at 7 p.m. against Seton Hill. The match is set for 7 p.m.
