FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State made quick work of Urbana on Saturday afternoon to improve to 19-7 overall and 10-2 in the Mountain East Conference. The Falcons picked up the win with set scores of 25-17, 25-15 and 25-13.

Fairmont finished the match with a .256 attacking percentage and held a 7-6 advantage in blocks and a 5-0 advantage in aces.

Kaitlyn Witsaman drove home 11 kills and had a .308 hitting percentage in the win. FSU was very balanced on the attack as
Erin Harwood chipped in six kills and
Mackenzie Harrison,
Courtney Kress and
Breanna Blot each recorded five for the Falcons.

Harwood also led the team with 11 digs and setter
Jessica Furda passed out 21 assists to help pace the FSU attack.

Madison Davis recorded a team-high seven kills to lead Urbana on the afternoon. Maia Dunlap finished with 12 digs and Tara Eades and Mary Hendricks finished with 13 and 12 assists, respectively.

FSU will host Shepherd on Tuesday evening at Joe Retton Arena. The match is set for 7 p.m.
