FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State scored a season-high 92 points and
Makenzie White scored a career-high 32 points as the Falcons ran away with a 92-77 victory over Davis & Elkins on Sunday afternoon at Joe Retton Arena.

The Falcons (6-3) shot 57.4 percent (35-of-61) from the floor, which is their second-highest field-goal percentage of the season (Fayetteville State). FSU also drained a season-best eight three-pointers in the win, four of which came from
Emily Puskarich.

Defensively, the Falcons forced 21 turnovers, scoring 28 points off-turnovers. FSU limited its turnovers to just nine in the game, also a season-low.

In addition to her 32 points, White also pulled-down seven rebounds and passed-out eight assists, going 12-of-15 from the field.
Amanda Ruffner recorded her seventh 20-point scoring performance of the season, going 8-of-12 from the field with 20 points and five rebounds. Puskarich also chipped in a season-high 18 points to go along with three assists and three steals.

Stephanie Wooten led D&E (3-6) with 37 points, four rebounds, seven assists and two steals. Wooten was 14-of-29 from the field and 6-of-12 from three. The Senators also got 11 points from Sydney Turner. Davis & Elkins dominated the glass by a 40-24 margin and shot 50 percent from the behind the arc (12-of-24).

FSU will wrap-up non-conference play on Wednesday at 6 p.m. when Bluefield State visits Joe Retton Arena. The Falcons will attempt to wrap-up a 6-0 mark in non-conference action for the second-straight season.
