Fairmont State Women's Basketball Notebook
-The Fairmont State women will look to get back in the win column after dropping back-to-back games for the first time this season against Wheeling Jesuit (68-64) and West Liberty (91-80).
-In the first meeting of the season against Concord, Emily Lohr and Emily Puskarich each netted 19 points in the opening half to help the Falcons open up a 53-31 halftime lead. The Falcons went 10-of-21 from three and held a 50-32 margin on the glass in the victory.
-The Falcons are ranked 8th in the first set of Atlantic Regional Rankings that were announced by the NCAA on Wednesday afternoon.
-Senior Hailey Garrett is currently fifth in school history in scoring with 1,705 points in her FSU career. Garrett needs just 67 points to pass FSU Hall of Famer, Kara Morris, for fourth all-time. Garrett is also fourth in school history in rebounding (890) and sixth in blocked shots (109).
-Garrett is leading the Falcons in scoring this season, averaging 17.4 points per outing. Garrett currently leads the MEC and is 16th in the country in field goal percentage (56.2).
-Emily Lohr continues to lead NCAA Division II in three-point field goal percentage, making 51 percent of her attempts.
-The Falcons currently lead the league in field goal percentage (46.2) and scoring margin (11.4). FSU is 11th in the NCAA in field goal percentage.

Scouting Concord
The Mountain Lions are coming off a 75-66 victory against WV State on Saturday afternoon … The Concord offense is led by Jacqueline Kestner and Rachel Artrip, both averaging 12.3 points per game … Kylie Molisee (11.7) and Melea Smith (11.4) are also averaging double figures for the Mountain Lions … Kestner leads the team on the glass, pulling down 8.8 rebounds per game.

-Despite dropping their last two outings, the Falcons have won 12 of their last 15 games and are currently ranked second in the Atlantic Regional Rankings.
-Concord is also ranked in the initial regional rankings in the 10th spot.
-In the first meeting of the season in Athens, Concord held-off a late surge by the Falcons after leading by as many as 23 in the second half. FSU scored 66 second-half and fell 94-91 to the Mountain Lions.
-Jamel Morris scored 29 points and Chase Morgan added 19 off the bench in the first meeting of the season with Concord.
-Nick Harney has had seven 20-point performances in January and February and is averaging 17.2 points per game this season. Harney has also recorded four double-doubles in the last eight games and has been named MEC Player of the Week twice in the last three weeks.
-The Falcons are currently second in the high-scoring Mountain East Conference in offense, averaging 82.3 points per game this season. FSU is also getting to the free throw line nearly 27 times per game and is first in the league in made free throws with 501.
-The Falcons are 10-2 when recording more assists than turnovers and are 15-3 when limiting their turnovers to 14 or less in a game. FSU has only had more than 14 turnovers one time since December.
-Despite being outshot by their opponents in 10 of the last 15 games, the Falcons have gone 12-3 during the stretch.

Scouting The Mountain Lions
The Mountain Lions enter Thursday's game as winners of nine of their last 12 games and are coming off victories against Charleston and WV State … Concord has five players averaging double figures in scoring, led by Aaron Miller at 18 points per game … Mike Boyd (13.7), Rob Reed (13.5), Jametrius Wade (11.7) and Terry Hopewell (10.5) round out the Mountain Lions in double figures … Wade and Hopewell are each averaging nearly eight rebounds per game.
