FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State women's volleyball team made quick work of Notre Dame College (25-20, 25-14, 27-25) on Saturday afternoon as the Falcon volleyball team hosted its annual 80's match during homecoming weekend 2016 on the Fairmont State campus.

The Falcons, who wore throwback uniforms from the 1980's during the match, were led by
Mackenzie Harrison with 13 kills and 18 digs, both team-highs for the Falcons.
Julia Shemaitis also recorded a double-double for the Falcons with 10 kills and 14 digs.
Rebecca Feeney was once again very good around the net, totaling seven kills and six total blocks in the victory.

Jessica Furda paces the FSU offense by passing out a team-nbest 32 assists.
Megan Clerico was the third FSU player to reach double-figure kills with 14 on the afternoon.

Both team recorded 10 blocks in the match, but Fairmont held a 7-2 advantage in service aces.

Notre Dame was led by Melissa Maczuzak with nine kills in the match. Tawny Flareau passed out a team-best 20 assists and Ali Kaeberlein and Mary Kate McHugh both reached double-digit digs, recording 19 and 14 respectively.

The Falcons will remain at home for another MEC matchup with Shepherd University on Tuesday evening at Joe Retton Arena. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
