WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. -- West Liberty built a 2-0 lead just 17 minutes into Thursday's Mountain East Conference soccer matchup with Fairmont State and added a goal late to pick up a 3-0 victory over the Falcons.

West Liberty's Kaelyn Oskin recorded a hat-trick in the West Liberty victory, striking just :34 seconds into the game with a goal assisted by Emily Evans. Oskin gave the 'Toppers a 2-0 advantage at the 17:45 mark with goal from the center of the field, assisted by Allie Roberts.

Oskin's third goal came early in the 60
th minute when Thanna Oddo assisted on the final goal of the game.

Both teams tallied 11 shots in the game, with WLU holding a 7-3 advantage in shots on goal.
