URBANA, Ohio -- Urbana scored two goals in the opening 26 minutes of Sunday's game to help lead the home-standing Blue Knights past Fairmont State, 2-0.
 
Urbana spent much of the afternoon on the attack, holding an 18-7 advantage in shots, including a 6-3 advantage in shots on goal.
 
Jordin Littles got the scoring started with an assist from Camryn Moreno in the 17^th minute. Less than nine minutes later, Kobi Bryant gave Urbana a 2-0 advantage on a shot from the right side that was assisted by Bronte Flannery.
 
Erica Uselton recorded a pair of shots on goal for the Falcons and Maci Dungan added one more high quality chance, each being saved by Urbana goaltender Katherine Beech. Courtney Webb also recorded two shots on the afternoon.
 
The Falcons held 4-1 advantage in corner kicks on the afternoon and the teams combined for four yellow cards in a very aggressively played game. UU received three of the four yellow cards.
 
The Falcons will return home on Wednesday evening for a 7 p.m. start against Notre Dame College at Duvall-Rosier Field.
