SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - Notre Dame College outscored Fairmont State 20-10 in the fourth quarter to rally past FSU, 73-67, on Saturday afternoon inside Murphy Gymnasium. Fairmont led 57-53 entering the fourth quarter of play.

FSU dropped to 8-7 on the year and 5-4 in MEC action with the loss while Notre Dame moves to 4-10 overall and 3-6 against league opponents.

Amanda Ruffner finished with a game-high 27 points on 10-of-14 from the field.
Makenzie White chipped in 23 points, six rebounds and six assists and
Deidra Combs aided the effort by notching 13 points and 11 rebounds. Combs scored 11 points in the second half.

Ruffner and White accounted for 29 of Fairmont's 33 points in the opening half and continued to pace the Falcons in the second half, both turning in 20-point scoring performances and combining for 50 of Fairmont's points.

Fairmont State outshot Notre Dame 44.3-40.3 in the game, but struggled from behind the arc with just four threes (4-of-17). NDC drained 10-of-20 three-point attempts in the win and also held a 42-35 advantage on the glass.
Jessie Stout paced Notre Dame with 18 points. Kyleigh Ramlow (15) and Kelsey Miller (13) also reached double-figures in the victory. Ramlow drained 5-of-7 three-point attempts. Kim Cook was a field goal short of a double-double by adding eight points and 11 boards.
In the victory, Notre Dame scored 42 points in the paint and the NDC reserves accounted for 23 points.

FSU will now travel to Urbana for a 2 p.m. tip on Monday afternoon for its second of three-straight road games.
