FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State recorded its sixth draw of the season on Sunday afternoon after Notre Dame College scored on a penalty kick in the 83
rd minute to knot the game at a goal apiece with just over seven minutes remaining in regulation. The draw comes after Notre Dame recorded a 3-0 home win over the Falcons back on Sept. 14.

Fairmont State is now 4-4-6 overall and 3-4-6 in Mountain East Conference play. NDC moves to 9-3-2 overall and 9-2-1 in league matches.

Abigail Johnson found the back of the net late in the opening half with an assist from
Brittany Cameron to give the Falcons a 1-0 halftime advantage. The teams each took five shots in an evenly contested opening half.

In the second half, however, NDC held a 12-2 advantage in shot attempts and ended the afternoon with an 18-9 edge in shots.

Shawna Graham kept Notre Dame off the scoreboard for over 82 minutes until Jillian Doss was awarded a penalty kick deep in Fairmont's defensive zone. Graham recorded seven saves to pick up her sixth draw of the year in Fairmont's net.

Louise Welch and Johnson each took two shots on goal to pace the Fairmont State offense on Sunday afternoon.

FSU will now prepare for a 7 p.m. road match on Wednesday evening against the Bobcats of West Virginia Wesleyan.
