Trevor Andrews-Evans has moved into second in school history in career blocks with 215 in his four-year FSU career – Haywood Highsmith is currently first in school history with 439 from 1985-89.

Shammgod Wells, who became the all-time school leader in steals (219) earlier this season against West Virginia Wesleyan, needs just four more assists to pass Brian Tristani as the school's all-time leader in career assists. Wells currently has 522 career assists.
- Thomas Wimbush has went over the 1,500 point mark in his career and is currently 28
th in school history in career points with 1,541. He passed Harvey Austin in Saturday's win over UC to move into the 28th spot.
- Wimbush is also fifth in school history in career blocks with 90.
- Two week's ago,
Matt Bingaya became the fifth two-year player and 46
th player in school history to eclipse 1,000 career points wearing the maroon and white. In just two seasons with the Falcons after transferring from Southern Miss, Bingaya has scored 1,036 points. Bingaya's career .607 field goal percentage is the fifth highest in FSU history.
- Bingaya, who scored 596 points in his two seasons at Southern Miss, currently has 1,632 points in his college basketball career.
Fairmont State MBB Quick Hitters
- For the first time since joining NCAA Division II, the Fairmont State men's basketball team occupies the top spot in the NCAA Division II NABC Coaches' Poll and D2SIDA Media Poll, as announced by both voting committees on Tuesday afternoon.
- The Falcons, who had been ranked second in the country for eight of the last nine weeks, jumped to the top spot in the rankings for the first time in more than four decades, when FSU was an active member of NAIA in athletics.
- The No. 1-ranked Fairmont State men's basketball team remained in the top spot of the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Rankings that were announced by the NCAA on Wednesday afternoon, the second of three sets of regional rankings prior to Selection Sunday.
- Fairmont State will be looking for a season sweep of rival Glenville State on Thursday when the Falcons travel to the Waco Center for their final road game of the regular season. In the fifth game of the season, the Falcons defeated the Pioneers 114-93 in Fairmont.

Thomas Wimbush led the Falcons with 37 points, shooting 15-20 from the field and 7-11 from three-point range against the Pioneers in Fairmont.

- Fairmont has defeated Glenville State in each of their last four matchups. FSU hasn't lost to the Pioneers since 2014.
- The Falcons are coming off a hard fought 92-86 victory over Charleston this past Saturday.

- The Falcons are also shooting 40 percent from behind the arc, averaging 11.4 three-pointers per game.
- FSU has the toughest 3-point field goal percentage defense in the league, holding opponents to just 32.1 percent from behind the arc.

Shammgod Wells currently tops the MEC in steals per game (2.62) and is second in the league in assists per game (6.0).
- Fairmont's 21-0 start to the season was its best start since 1975-76 when the team won its first 28 games before falling in the second round of the NAIA National Tournament. The Falcons' 21-game winning streak, prior to falling at WLU, was tied for the third longest in school history. The longest is the 28 straight games won by the 1975-76 squad. In 1970-71 Fairmont State opened with 26 consecutive wins en route to a 32-3 overall record and in 1973-74 the team also began the season with 21 straight victories on its way to a 28-3 overall mark.
Scouting GSC Men's Basketball
Glenville State (11-13, 8-12 MEC) is coming off its first loss in four games after falling to No.7 West Liberty 93-82 this past Saturday … Glenville was led by Jon Dunmyer (34), Terry Davis Jr. (14) and Brett Morris (12 points, 14 assist) in the loss … on the season, the Pioneers are being outscored by just over one point per game … Dunmyer, Davis, Morris and Jalon Plummer are all averaging double-figure scoring this season.
WBB Milestone Watch
- Senior forward
Deidra Combs became the fourth player this season and 30
th in school history to score over 1,000 career points after her impressive 22 point outing last Saturday against Charleston.
- Combs is also sixth in school history in blocked shots with 112 – the senior needs just six more blocks to pass Hailey Garrett for fifth in FSU history.

Emily Puskarich went over 1,000 points earlier this season and is currently in 21
st place in school history with 1,092 points. She needs just six points to move into the 20th spot.
- Puskarich is also third in school history in made three-pointers with 234 – the senior needs just 15 more threes to move into second place in school history.
- Puskarich is also closing in on the top 10 in school history in steals with 209 – with four more steals, Puskarich will move into the top 10 in school history.

Amanda Ruffner was the first of four FSU seniors to go over 1,000 career points this season. Ruffner is currently 18
th in school history with 1,163 points.
- Ruffner's career field goal percentage of .559 is currently third in FSU history.

Makenzie White passed into 19th place in school history in career scoring this past Saturday after finishing with 21 points against Charleston. White currently has 1,124 points in her three seasons at FSU.
- White is currently in eighth place in FSU history in assists with 358 – the senior needs 54 assists to pass Jenna Eckleberry for seventh in FSU history. White also has the seventh-highest career scoring average in FSU history (15.1)
Fairmont State WBB Quick Hitters
- Fairmont State will be looking for a season sweep of nationally ranked Glenville State on Thursday evening at the Waco Center. Earlier this season, the Lady Falcons knocked off the current MEC leaders 96-92 in Fairmont.

Amanda Ruffner added 27 to lead the Falcons in the victory.
Gabrielle Etter (13) and
Emily Puskarich (10) also had double-digit scoring performances for the Falcons.
Makenzie White was also just one point away from a double-double, with nine points and 13 rebounds.
- Dating back to 2014, the series between Fairmont and Glenville favors FSU 3-2. In the last two seasons, the teams split during the regular season.
- The Falcons are coming off their second-straight road win after defeating the University of Charleston 67-65 on Saturday.

Makenzie White also had a big day, scoring 21 points and grabbing a team-high seven rebounds for the Lady Falcons.

Amanda Ruffner was named to the 2016-17 CoSIDA Academic All-District team this season. Ruffner has maintained
a 3.74 grade-point average in Criminal Justice while also leading the Falcons in scoring (17.2) and field-goal percentage (.532) as a senior.
- Last Thursday against WV State, Combs pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds.
