ATHENS, W.Va. -- Courtney Materazzi picked up her 100
th career victory as head volleyball coach with Fairmont State's 3-1 victory over Concord on Saturday afternoon. The teams split the first two sets (25-20, 19-25), before the Falcons rolled to wins of 25-9 and 25-16 in the third and fourth sets to claim the victory.

Materazzi, who took over the Fairmont State volleyball program during the 2014 season, now has a career record of 100-52 leading the program.

Fairmont State (9-12, 4-5 MEC) recorded a .268 attacking percentage and also tallied 12 blocks and four aces in the win. Concord (4-20, 1-8 MEC) managed just 37 kills in the four sets and also added 14 blocks.

Julia DiPaola paced the Falcons in the victory with a team-high 16 kills and 15 digs.
Rebecca Feeney also had a strong performance with 15 kills and a team-high eight blocks.
Emily Suppel just missed double-figures with nine kills.

In addition to Feeney's eight blocks,
Emma Mobley and
Taylor Wisniewski each chipped in four.

Kelsey Moeller and Lily Keber led the Fairmont State offense with 28 and 25 assists, respectively. Mobley (15), Keber (11) and
Megan Clerico (11) also reached double-figure digs in the victory.

Brooke Heck and Ellie Lawrence paced Concord in the match with eight kills apiece. Camryn Huber recorded a match-high nine total blocks.

The Falcons will return to action on Tuesday evening with a non-conference match at Alderson Broaddus College. Opening serve is set for 7 p.m.
