URBANA, Ohio -- Fairmont State volleyball dropped a pair of Mountain East Conference matches over the weekend, including a 3-0 decision at Notre Dame College (25-14, 25-22, 25-15) on Friday evening and a 3-1 setback at Urbana (26-24, 18-25, 25-20, 25-21) on Saturday afternoon.

Following this weekend's action, Fairmont State now sits at 11-15 overall and 5-8 in league play.

On Friday evening, Notre Dame had a .287 attacking percentage and held a 7-0 advantage in aces and a 6-3 advantage in blocks.

Emily Suppel paced the Falcons with seven kills in the setback.
Emma Mobley chipped in six and Bri Washburn added five kills for the Fairmont State attack.

Kelsey Moeller guided the Fairmont State offense with 15 assists and senior libero
Megan Clerico tallied 10 digs.

Mary Kate McHugh paced NDC in the victory with 19 kills and seven digs.

On Saturday at Urbana, the Falcons held a 15-6 advantage in blocks, despite falling in four sets.

Rebecca Feeney led the Falcons with 10 kills and a match-high 12 total blocks. Mobley also chipped in nine kills and was in on four blocks on Saturday.

Moeller once again led the Fairmont State attack with 16 assists, followed by Lily Keber on the stat sheet with 15. Clerico recorded a team-high 29 digs.

Madison Davis paced Urbana in the victory with 16 kills to go with four total blocks.

The Falcons will return to the court on Tuesday evening when they travel to Shepherd for a 7 p.m. MEC matchup with the Rams.
