BUCKHANNON, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State women's volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 Mountain East Conference victory over West Virginia Wesleyan on Friday evening in Buckhannon (25-10, 25-15, 25-16).

The Falcons used a balanced and consistent offensive attack in the victory, recording 34 kills compared to just eight total errors in the win. The Falcons also had an 8-0 advantage in aces and a 6-3 edge in total blocks.

The Bobcats committed just as many errors as kills in the setback, totaling 24 kills and 24 errors.

Julia DiPaola and
Amelia Moore paced Fairmont State with eight kills apiece in the win. The Falcons also got six kills from
Taylor Wisniewski and
Rebecca Feeney tallied four total blocks on the evening.

Lilianna Keber notched 25 assists and six digs to paced the Fairmont offense, while
Bryce Knapp chipped in six digs defensively for the Falcons.

Jenny Lundy led the Bobcats in the match with seven kills and six digs. Payton Hefner passed out 10 assists for Wesleyan.

Fairmont State will return to action on Saturday afternoon with an MEC match at Davis & Elkins. Opening serve is set for 2 p.m. between the Falcons and Senators.
