FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State and Notre Dame College battled to a draw on Sunday afternoon in Mountain East Conference action at Duvall-Rosier Field. The draw was the first of the season for Fairmont State, and the third of the season for Notre Dame.

Freshman standout Ari Christiansen put the Falcons on the board first in the 30th minute following a perfectly placed header off a corner kick from teammate Ella Wilson. The goal raises Christiansen's season total to team-high five on the year. Wilson's assist was her first of the season.

Fairmont State would remain in the lead until the 74th minute when Notre Dame's Caroline Plunkett scored an unassisted goal off a deflection to knot the score at a goal apiece (1-1).
