PHILIPPI, W.Va. -- Fairmont State put on a dominating performance with a 3-0 win over Alderson Broaddus (25-22, 25-21, 25-9) on Friday evening at Rex Pyles Arena in Philippi. The Falcons recorded a .269 attacking percentage and committed just 13 errors in the win.

With the win, Fairmont State improves 6-2 on the year, as FSU picked up its third-consecutive win. AB fell to 2-6 following the loss.

In addition to the efficient night on the attack, the Falcons also held a 41-33 advantage in total kills, an 8-2 advantage in aces, a 6-2 edge in total blocks, and a 45-41 advantage in total digs.

AB hit just .150 during the match with 33 kills and 18 errors.

Julia DiPaola paced the Falcons in the win with 14 kills, nine digs and three aces.
Taylor Wisniewski also chipped in eight kills, while
Keara Lewis added seven.
Lilianna Keber paced the FSU attack with 33 assists and also added 11 digs to record a double-double.

Bryce Knapp chipped in eight digs from her libero position.

Ashlyn McDonald led AB in the match with 13 kills and eight digs. Camille Ashby finished with 17 assists for the Battlers.

Fairmont State will return to action on Tuesday evening against West Liberty. Opening serve is set for 7 p.m. during senior day at Joe Retton Arena.
