WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State women's soccer team came up short in a 2-1 loss to Mountain East Conference opponent West Liberty University Saturday afternoon. The Falcons now sit at 2-3 on the season and 2-2 in conference play.
Sophomore
Kiera Kuzinski opened the scoring, netting the Falcons' lone goal in the 15th minute, but a goal from West Liberty's Kaelyn Oskin in the 29th minute would tie the game. Early in the second half, Isabella Aperfine scored off an assist from Oskin to secure the victory for the Hilltoppers.

The Falcons return to play at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, hosting Frostburg State at Duvall-Rosier Field.
