Fairmont, W. Va. – The Falcons hosted the 15-1-1 No. 22 nationally ranked Bobcats of Frostburg State. The Falcons lost 1-0 at Duvall-Rosier Field on Senior Day. Fairmont State Athletics honored their seniors and graduates prior to kickoff. This makes Fairmont State's record 10-3-4.  

The Bobcats had 10 total shots, and 5 shots on frame. Senior goalkeeper Taylor Kennedy had 4 saves on the afternoon. The Falcons had 4 total shots, with one being on goal.  

The game was a battle, as both teams had decent chances on goal. The score was tied 0-0 at halftime. 10 minutes into the 2^nd half, Frostburg struck the game winner on a shot from 35 yards out. Fairmont State would push on but was unable to capitalize on any of their moments.  

The match against Frostburg State caps off the regular season for the women's soccer team. The Mountain East Conference tournament will kick off on Tuesday, November 1^st. Fairmont State will host Notre Dame College at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening. FSU and NDC split wins when they played during the regular season, but both teams will look to move forward withing the MEC tournament by earning a win in the first round.
