Fairmont, W. Va. – The Fairmont State Football had a big win last Saturday but turned their attention quickly to Alderson Broaddus on a short week. They jumped on Alderson Broaddus early and didn't look back as they won by a Final Score 51-7.
    
    Myles Miree got things going with a 9 yard rushing touchdown and then it was the Michael Floria show. Floria scored three straight touchdowns two passing and one rushing. Floria's passing touchdowns were two 20 plus yard connections. One was to Joshawn Lewis for 21 yards and the other one was 70 yard bomb to Jeremiah Taylor. Myles Miree added another rushing touchdown from 29 yards out and Conner Neal threw a touchdown pass as well too Koby Toothman. 
    
    The defense had a huge night holding Alderson Broaddus to 7 points and 177 total yards of offense. They also forced 6 turnovers, had 5 Sacks and had a safety. Leading the charge was Josh Alt with 9 tackles (7 solo, 2 assist). Brocton Blair also chipped in with 3 tackles but also had an impressive Pick Six. 
    
    Your Fighting Falcons are back in action next Thursday at 7:00 PM at home against West Liberty University.
