FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State Acrobatics & Tumbling now heads to Frostburg State on Sunday afternoon for a 2 p.m. tri-meet with the Bobcats and Alderson Broaddus.
The Fighting Falcons are 1-1 on the season with a season-opening win against Frostburg State, 252.570-247.840. Fairmont State improved its meet totals in last Friday's meet at Gannon University to 259.220.
Sophomore
Emily Brock was named the Mountain East Conference Acrobatics & Tumbling Athlete of the Week in her performance in the dual meet victory over Frostburg State on February 13th. In the pyramid heat of the Compulsory Event, Brock and the Falcons scored a 9.70 out of a starting value of 10.00 and Brock joined her teammates in the toss heat to score a 9.00. In the synchronized heat of the Toss Event, Brock notched a score of 8.60 out of a starting value of 9.40. Brock also scored an 8.00 in her duo pass of the Tumbling Event with fellow classmateÂ

No. 8 Fairmont State is slated to return to Joe Retton Arena on March 12th for a 2 p.m. MEC dual meet with Davis & Elkins College.
