FROSTBURG, Md. -- Frostburg State used a 20-point swing in the second half to capture the 80-75 victory over Fairmont State on Saturday afternoon. The Fighting Falcons are now 21-6 on the season and 16-6 in Mountain East Conference games.
Isaiah Sanders led four Falcon scorers in double-digit scoring with 18 points as
Zyon Dobbs (15 points),
Cole VonHandorf (14 points), and
Briggs Parris (10 points) each scored 10+ points on the day.
Frostburg State used a 6-0 run in the final 2:20 of action in the second half to down the Falcons and close its season with an overall record of 8-20 and 6-16 in MEC contests.
Fairmont State is slated to play Notre Dame College on Friday at 8:15 p.m. from WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va. in the MEC Basketball Tournament.
