Fairmont, W. VA. -- Fairmont State University Athletics has many events planned during the 2022 Homecoming. It is an exciting time for fans and alumni to gather to celebrate the past, present, and future successes of the University. This weekend, there are home matches for the football, volleyball, and women's soccer teams.
The Fairmont State football team will seek out their first win of the season when they face UNC Pembroke for the 2022 homecoming football game. The contest is set for Saturday September 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Duvall-Rosier Field. New this season, fans can visit https://fightingfalcons.com/sports/2022/8/26/hometownticketing.aspx to purchase tickets for this Saturday's game, as well as the rest of the 2022 fall season through HomeTown Ticketing. Once tickets are purchased, fans are encouraged to download the HomeTown Fan app to access their mobile tickets prior to attending athletic events. Fans will also receive an email with their tickets. Students will be available to get free tickets through the app and link as well.
Fairmont State volleyball will face Notre Dame College on Friday, September 23rd at 3:00 p.m. The Falcons are looking to continue to improve on their fantastic 14-1 start to their season.
The 2-1-2 Falcons' soccer team will also host a home match on Sunday afternoon, September 25th, against West Virginia Wesleyan at 1:00 p.m.
