FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- In collaboration with the Mountain East Conference, Fairmont State has released the 2026 football schedule.

Fairmont State University will open the 2026 on Saturday, August 29 on the road as it will face Division I, University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio at 12:00 p.m. The home portion of the schedule will start the next week on Thursday, September 3 against Bloomsburg Unversity. Kickoff from Duvall-Rosier Field is set for 6:00 p.m. Rounding out the non-conference schedule, the Falcons will return to Ohio to face the University of Findlay on Saturday, September 12 at 12:00 p.m.

Fairmont State starts conference on the road on Satruday, September 19 at Wheeling University. The following week, the team returns home for back-to-back games. The first on Saturday, September 26 against West Virginia State University. The Falcons then host Glenville State University on Saturday, October 3 on Homecoming Weekend. Fairmotn State then hits the road to face West Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday, October 10 before traveling to the University of Charleston on Saturday, October 24.

The Falcons return to Duvall-Rosier Field on Saturday, October 31 to face West Liberty University. The team then closes the home portion of the regular season schedule on Saturday, November 7 against Concord University for Senior Day. The season finale will be on the road against Frostburg State University on Saturday, November 14.
