Fairmont State Celebrates Five Golf Seniors

FAIRMONT, W. Va. -- At halftime of the men's basketball game against West Virginia State last Wednesday (Nov. 29), Fairmont State Athletics commemorated the careers of the 2023 men's and women's golf seniors. Skyler Jefairjian is the only senior on the women's side. The men's team will graduate Matthew Barris, Caden Moore, John-Logan Taylor, and Cole Tegano.
The only graduating member of the women's golf team is Skyler Jefairjian. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jefairjian is a four-year member of the women's golf team. Jefairjian's plan for after graduation is to move back home and become an elementary school teacher.
Matthew Barris is a 5-year member of the Men's Golf team. Barris is from Carmichaels, Pennsylvania. Barris' future plans are to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants in Bridgeport, WV as a Civil Engineer.
Caden Moore, from Bridgeport, West Virginia, is a 4-year member of the men's golf team. Moore's future plans are to become a Financial Analyst.
John-Logan Taylor is from Charleston, West Virginia, and is a 5-year member of the men's golf team. Following graduation, he plans to move to North Carolina and work for the USGA.
The last senior for either golf team is Cole Tegano from Wintersville, Ohio. Tegano is a 2-year member of the men's golf team. After graduation, Cole plans to become a Financial Advisor and work for Cambridge Investment Research.
