Bailey DeMoss and
Carlina Jacquez both earned top-10 finishes at the Thundering Herd Invitational at the YMCA Kennedy Center in Huntington, W.Va.

The men's team finished fifth out of seven teams while the women's team finished fifth out of six teams.

DeMoss finished the 8k race under 25 minutes with a time of 24:59.3 to lead the men's team. William Lemaster crossed the finish line at 29:19.1 while
Tyler Martin came in at 29:57.7. Freshman
Isaac Coffman finished in 32:07.8 while
Antonio Luketic earned a personal best of 33:38.1.
Jacob Righter (34:30.0) finished the scoring for the Falcons.
Jacquez completed the 5k event on the women's side with a time of 18:23.8 to finish in sixth place overall.
Megan Mitchell finished at 20:00.1.
Mackenzie Payne recorded a time of 21:35.1 while
Stella Episcopo finished at a time of 23:44.6.
Alexandrea Humphrey clocked a time of 24:42.7.
The cross country program will compete at the Live In Lou Classic at the end of the month on Sept. 30 in Louisville, Ky.
