BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Fairmont State University men's and women's cross country teams took part in the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University. Both the men's and women's teams finished 11th in their respective races.
For the women,
Carlina Jacquez led the team as she finished 11th with a time of 23:15.8 as
Megan Mitchell placed 16th, crossing the line in 23:24.7.
Emily Viani ran the race in 24:31.9 while Stell Marsch stopped the timer at 25:12.6.
Bella Haught (27:28.0), Chelsea Sayman (29:56.7),
Stella Episcopo (31:09.3) and
Caroline Logue (33:45.7) also ran for the Falcons.
For the men, it was
Bailey DeMoss leading the way as he placed third with a time of 26:28.9 while
Will LeMaster hit the line in 27:31.2.
Christian Simon ran the race in 29:01.9 as Mark Uso finished with a time of 29:43.4.
Tyler Martin (30:02.0),
Isaac Coffman (31:54.4) and
Taylor Hohman (32:43.9) completed the race for Fairmont State.
Both teams return to the course on Saturday, October 12 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the Carnegie Mellon University Invitational. Start time from Schenley Park is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
