FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The 30th Annual Fairmont State Athletics Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, June 17th, at the Green Hills Country Club in Fairmont.
This event features a 4-person, 18-hole scramble across 3 flights. All participants will receive a welcome gift, lunch, dinner, and an opportunity to win great prizes.
While the golf tournament offers golfers a day of fellowship, competition, and great food, the real winners are the Fairmont State University student-athletes. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit (17) Fairmont State University athletics programs through scholarships. For many student-athletes, an athletic scholarship is their best chance to earn a college education.
Traditionally, the Fairmont State Athletic Association Golf Tournament has attracted around 100 golfers and has raised more than $30,000 toward athletic scholarships. With your support this year, and the continuing support of our faithful sponsors, we feel confident we can achieve our goal of $40,000.
