HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State University men's and women's indoor track programs kicked off its inaugural season at the Marshall Opener.
Highlighting the day for Fairmont State were several top performances including
Megan Mitchell, who finished fourth in 5,000-meter race with a time of 18:05.03 and set a new personal record. In the men's 5,000-meter,
Donovan Tanouye placed seventh as he hit the line in 15:06.68.Â
Other personal records were set by
Jonathan Simms in the 400 meters (58.91) and
Taylor Hohman in the 5,000-meter (17:43.65).Â
Other Notable Finishes:
Fairmont State returns to the track on January 16 for the Youngstown State University Collegiate Invitational.Â
