FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The Division II Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced its 2024-25 All-Atlantic Region Women's Basketball Teams.
Leslie Huffman headlined this year's honors as she was named the 2025 Atlantic Region Player of the Year.
Huffman, the 2024-25 Mountain East Conference (MEC) Player of the Year and the 2025 MEC Tournament MVP, enters the NCAA Tournament averaging 17.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. She ranks among the nation's Top 40 players in free throws (15th, 140), points (23rd, 547) and steals (24th, 78). Huffman also posted the highest scoring average of any player in the MEC Tournament (18.6 points per game).
Sports information directors from NCAA Division II Atlantic Region schools and conferences nominated and selected the all-region teams. The process concludes with All-American selections announced later in the month. The Atlantic Region consists of all schools in the CIAA, MEC and PSAC along with Salem, an independent.
The team is sponsored by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association, which encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
