BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference has announced the winners of this week's MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Player of the Week awards. The MEC Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.

Fairmont State's  Izaria McWhorter-Martin collecting her second MEC Specialist of the Week award of the season.

McWhorter-Martin, a senior base and tumbler from Cincinnati, Ohio, helped the No. 5-ranked Falcons breeze to a 264.130-246.380 conference win against Frostburg State on Sunday with a stellar performance in all three heats of the Pyramid Event. Fairmont State topped the 9.50 mark in all three heats, capping the event with a 9.85 score in the open heat with McWhorter-Martin serving as a mid-base.
