BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — The Mountain East Conference announced Monday the winners of this week's Football Player of the Week awards. The MEC Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.
Fairmont State kicker Emmanual Richardson is the MEC Special Teams Player of the Week, the second time he has received the honor in 2025.
Richardson was perfect on his lone field goal attempt — 41 yards — and made all four extra points. He is 16 for 16 on extra point attempts this season, making him perfect on all 106 attempts for his Falcons career. Richardson has the most makes and attempts of extra points for any kicker in MEC history who has never missed.
