FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State University volleyball team announces changes to its schedule for most of the season.

Due to maintenance that is required to Dan Cava Court in Joe Retton Arena, the volleyball team has made changes to its schedule of home events.

The match against Wheeling University on Tuesday, September 30 will still take place inside Joe Retton Arena. Show up in your maroon to support the Falcons at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, October 7, the Falcons were scheduled to host Salem University. The team will now hit the road to face the Tigers in Salem, West Virginia on the same date at 7:00 p.m. In that same vein, the match against Frostburg State University on Tuesday, October 14 will now take place in Frostburg, Maryland at 7:00 p.m.

Fairmont State will still host West Virginia State University, the University of Charleston, Shepherd University and Concord University but the matches will take place at East Fairmont High School. The matches against Charleston and Shepherd will now start at 7:00 p.m. 

The match against Concord University will now take place on Thursday, October 30 at 7:00 p.m.

Later in the year, the Falcons will host Salem University on Saturday, November 8 from Joe Retton Arena at 1:00 p.m. for Senior Day. The final match of the season will take place against Frostburg State University inside Joe Retton Arena on Thursday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m.
