CANTON, Ohio — Fairmont State University competed on Day 3 of the 2026 Great Midwest & Mountain East Conference, highlighted by sophomore Delaney Householder's third-place finish in the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:08.31. Householder also secured a third-place spot in the 100 Yard Backstroke, contributing significantly to the Falcons' efforts in the meet.

Householder placed third in the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:08.31 and also took third in the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke.  Her time of 56.49 in the 100 Back set a new program record that she previously set earlier in the day in the prelims.

Mia Abruzzino contributed to a 10th-place finish in the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:14.62 and helped the team secure fifth place in the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay.  

Rachel Shryock swam to a 16th-place finish in the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:20.36 and participated in the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay, aiding in the team's fifth-place result.

- 800 Yard Freestyle Relay — The Falcons placed fifth with a time of 7:58.55; team members included Householder, Shryock, Alicia Pérez, and Abruzzino (Second Team All-MEC).

Individual Swimming
- 500 Yard Freestyle — Householder finished third, earning 27 points (First Team All-MEC); Abruzzino placed tenth, earning 17 points (Second Team All-MEC).
- 100 Yard Backstroke — Householder secured third, adding 27 points to the team's total (First Team All-MEC).
- 100 Yard Breaststroke — Olivia Ridenour finished thirteenth, contributing 14 points (Second Team All-MEC).
- 200 Yard Butterfly — Marra Johnson placed fourteenth, earning 13 points.
- 500 Yard Freestyle — Shryock finished sixteenth, securing 11 points; Pérez placed twenty-first, adding 4 points.
