CANTON, Ohio — Fairmont State University competed on Day 3 of the 2026 Great Midwest & Mountain East Conference, highlighted by sophomore
Delaney Householder's third-place finish in the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:08.31. Householder also secured a third-place spot in the 100 Yard Backstroke, contributing significantly to the Falcons' efforts in the meet.
Householder placed third in the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:08.31 and also took third in the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke. Her time of 56.49 in the 100 Back set a new program record that she previously set earlier in the day in the prelims.
Mia Abruzzino contributed to a 10th-place finish in the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:14.62 and helped the team secure fifth place in the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay.
Rachel Shryock swam to a 16th-place finish in the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:20.36 and participated in the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay, aiding in the team's fifth-place result.
