BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - On the eve of the 2026 Mountain East Conference Acrobatics & Tumbling Championships, the MEC announced Friday its postseason award winners and all-conference teams.
Fairmont State had eight different All-Conference honorees including the MEC Freshman of the Year,
Cali Way. Way, a base and tumbler from Parkersburg, West Virginia, competes in 5/6 heats as a freshman for the Falcons. She was named the NCATA Freshman of the Week twice this season and received an NCATA Freshman of the Week Honorable Mention.
The Falcons had five named First Team All-Conference including
Taryn Laurence,
Azia Shaffer,
Alexa Wilson,
Kassidy Price and
Jacklyn Kelly. The team also had two named Second Team All-MEC with
Alexis Wilkinson and
Macy Riggs.
Fairmont State will host the Mountain East Conference Championship on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12. The Falcons will face Kutztown in the first semifinal on Saturday starting at 1:00 p.m.
