FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Fairmont State University is set to host the 2026 Mountain East Conference Acrobatics & Tumbling Championships.
Fairmont State captured the 2026 MEC Regular Season Championship — the program's third consecutive — with a perfect 6-0 mark in conference competition. The Falcons will host the MEC Championships on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12 at Joe Retton Arena.
Championship tickets are now on sale (
purchase online). Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth ages 13-18. Children ages 12 and under will receive free admission. Students from MEC institutions will also be admitted free with a valid student ID.
Top-seeded Fairmont State will begin competition in the MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship against fourth-seeded Kutztown. The Falcons and Golden Bears will meet Saturday, April 11 at 1:00 p.m., followed by the second semifinal with No. 2 Glenville State and No. 3 Frostburg State.
Additionally, the MEC will hold event finals on Sunday, April 12 at 12:00 p.m.
The MEC championship meet is set for Sunday at 6 p.m.
