BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - The Mountain East Conference has announced the winners of this week's MEC Softball Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week awards. The MEC Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.
 
Fairmont State's Abbie Keilholz has been named the MEC Softball Player of the Week.

Keilholz, a senior from Miamisburg, Ohio, helped the Falcons go 4-0 on the week with wins over Salem and Point Park. She had a .500 batting average with five hits and 10 RBIs. She also had two homeruns, with one against Salem and one coming against Point Park.
