FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Fairmont State University placed third with a score of 666 (+106) at the MEC Spring Championship at Green Hills Country Club, led by senior
Marra Johnson's seventh-place finish at 160 (+20).
Marra Johnson led the Falcons with a strong performance, finishing seventh with a total score of 160 (+20). Johnson improved her play in the second round, carding a 78 (+8) after an opening round of 82 (+12).
Emerson Simons tied for ninth place with a final score of 162 (+22). Simons posted consistent rounds of 82 (+12) and 80 (+10), helping to secure a top-10 finish for the Falcons.
Candela Lopez Prino finished tied for 18th with a score of 169 (+29). Lopez Prino showed steady improvement, recording an 85 (+15) in the first round and an 84 (+14) in the second round.
Gianna Koski ended the tournament tied for 22nd with a score of 175 (+35). After a challenging first round of 91 (+21), Koski bounced back with a 84 (+14) in the second round.
Isabela Martinez finished tied for 32nd, with a total score of 209 (+69). Martinez's rounds included a 103 (+33) and a 106 (+36), contributing to the team's overall third-place finish.
After the tournament, the Mountain East Conference announced its All-Conference Teams. The Falcons had three honored on the various teams:
