FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State University baseball team has announced an update to its weekend series against Wheeling University.
The two teams were set to open play on Saturday, April 18. Due to weather forecasted on Saturday, the two squads will now open the four-game series on Friday, April 17. First pitch from Mylan Park in Morgantown, West Virginia is set for 2:00 p.m.
The doubleheader on Sunday, April 19 at 1:00 p.m. will occur as scheduled. Fairmont State will honor its seniors prior to Sunday's first game around 12:45 p.m.
