BEDFORD, Pa. — Fairmont State University tied for 12th at the Bedford Springs Invitational with a score of 613, led by sophomore Caleb Young's performance, who finished tied for 19th with a 5-over-par 149.

Caleb Young led the Falcons at the Bedford Springs Invitational, finishing tied for 19th. The sophomore carded rounds of 75 (+3) and 74 (+2), totaling a five-over 149 for the tournament.

Colby Bent, a freshman, tied for 32nd with a final score of 151 (+7). He started strong with a 74 (+2) in the first round but slipped slightly with a 77 (+5) in the second round.

Senior Ben Ritenour improved in the second round, finishing tied for 56th. He shot an 80 (+8) on the first day and a 75 (+3) on the second, resulting in a total score of 155 (+11).

Mason Lapana, competing individually, finished tied for 67th place. The sophomore posted rounds of 81 (+9) and 76 (+4), concluding the invitational at 157 (+13).

Junior Nik Tomblin tied for 74th, maintaining consistency with identical rounds of 79 (+7) for a total score of 158 (+14).

Freshman Eric Feng finished tied for 85th. He finished with rounds of 80 (+8) and 83 (+11) for a total score of 163 (+19).
