JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — Fairmont State University sits 20th at the NCAA DII East/Atlantic Regional at Sunnehanna Country Club with a total score of 309 (+29), led by freshman Colby Bent, who is tied for 18th with a 2-over-par 72.

Colby Bent, a freshman, is tied for 18th place, carding a steady 72 (+2) in the opening round. Nik Tomblin, a junior, sits tied for 41st with a score of 74 (+4) in the first round.

Caleb Young, a sophomore, currently is tied for 91st with a round of 79 (+9). Mason Lapana, a sophomore, posted an 84 (+14), placing him in 106th position. Ben Ritenour, a senior, concluded his round in 107th position with a score of 86 (+16).

Fairmont State will tee off for round two on Friday, May 8 of the NCAA DII East/Atlantic Regional around 12:30 p.m.
