Men's Golf Wraps Up NCAA Regional

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — Fairmont State University concluded its competition at the NCAA DII East/Atlantic Regional with a 908 (+68) total, highlighted by junior Nik Tomblin's tie for 16th place with a final score of 216 (+6).

Nik Tomblin, a junior, led Fairmont State with a tie for 16th place, finishing at six-over-par 216. Tomblin carded an even-par 70 during the second round, followed by a two-over 72 in the final round.

Sophomore Caleb Young finished tied for 72nd with a total score of 228 (+18). Young improved his performance each day, closing the tournament with a four-over 74 in the final round.

Freshman Colby Bent concluded the event tied for 82nd place, scoring a 230 (+20). Bent's opening round 72 (+2) marked his best performance, showing promise for future competitions.

Senior Ben Ritenour placed 98th, recording a total score of 239 (+29). Ritenour improved significantly after a challenging first round, posting scores of 76 and 77 in the subsequent rounds.

Eric Feng tied for 104th, with a final score of 155. Feng participated only in the last two rounds, scoring 77 (+7) and 78 (+8) respectively.
