FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- For the first time since 2022, the Fairmont State University softball team was selected to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division II Softball Tournament.

Fairmont State earned the seventh seed in the Atlantic Regional and will face second-seeded, East Stroudsburg University on Thursday, May 14. The Warriors are hosting the pod as the other two teams traveling to East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania are third-seeded Kutztown and sixth-seeded West Chester. 

In the other pod, top-seed and PSAC Champion, Shippensburg, will host eighth-seeded Claflin, fourth-seeded Glenville State, and fifth-seeded Charleston (WV). 

Tickets for the regional will be for sale on site and will be CASH ONLY. Tickets start at $10 for adults and $5 for students (with ID), children, adults 65 & older, military and first responders at the gate.
