FAIRMONT, W. Va. -  The Mountain East Conference announced Monday the winners of this week's Volleyball Player of the Week awards. The MEC Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan. 
 
Fairmont State's middle blocker Alexa Martin is the MEC Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Martin, a senior from Bridgeport, West Virginia., recorded 15 kills with no errors for the Fighting Falcons. The middle blocker earned a .536% hitting percentage and 2.5 kills per set, helping Fairmont earn three wins throughout the week.
