FAIRMONT, W. Va. - The Mountain East Conference has announced Monday the winners of this week's Football Player of the Week awards. The MEC Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.
Fairmont State's cornerback
DJ Dailey was named the MEC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Dailey, a redshirt senior from Ocala, Fla., had two kick return attempts in the Falcons' 41-18 win over West Virginia State on Saturday. The cornerback tallied 111 yards, including a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown during Fairmont State's opening drive.
