Fan InformationFans attending Saturday's game should be advised of a change in game day parking for the 2015 season because of construction on the Fairmont State campus. The white and maroon lots remain unchanged for this season and all fans parking in those lots must purchase a parking pass. A new general parking area will now be available beside the Fairmont State tennis courts, behind the scoreboard end of the stadium. Parking in the tennis court lot will be available at no charge and there will be a direct enterance into the stadium from the parking lot.
Fans choosing to park on the lower end of campus or behind the Feaster Center may take advatage of a free shuttle that will escort fans to and from the white lot before and after the game. For more game day and ticket information,
visit the game day information page.The Matchup• Fairmont State and Shepherd will meet in the Mountain East Conference Game of the Week on Thursday evening at Duvall-Rosier Field.
• Thursday will be senior night for the Fairmont State football team as 12 seniors will be honored during a pregame ceremony. The 2015 seniors include

• In the last 20 years Shepherd has gone 16-4 against Fairmont State and has won nine straight games between the two teams played at Duvall-Rosier Field. Shepherd's last loss to FSU in Fairmont came in 1995. The Falcons' last win in the series came in 2008 in Shepherdstown when former standout FSU receiver Perry Baker caught 10 passes for 186 yards and five touchdown to help the Falcons erase a pair of 21-point deficits in the game and record a wild 46-42 victory.
• Fairmont State is now 5-3 on the season and has won five of its last six games. The 5-3 start for FSU is the best since 2011, when FSU started the year with a 5-2 mark before finishing the season 7-4.
• Fairmont State has now locked up at least a .500 season and will be loking to clinch a winning-season for the first time in four years.
• Shepherd has scored 40 points in seven of its eight games this season. In addition, the SU defense has allowed more then 20 points just three times all season.
• In last year's matchup, Shepherd quarterback Jeff Ziemba completed 14-of-14 pass attempts for 262 yards and a score. The Shepherd offense also had three running backs record at least 60 rushing yards in the win.
Fairmont State Quick Hitters• FSU receiver
Fabian Guerra has hauled in a touchdown reception in six of the last nine games dating back to last season. Guerra has caught 52 passes for 694 yards and five touchdowns this season.
• Guerra is currently in seventh-place in school history with 1,831 receiving yards in his three-year career. Guerra needs just 83 yards to move into sixth place on the all-time yardage list, passing Larry Goodline (1,913, 1972-75).
• Guerra is also in sixth place in school history with 147 career receptions. He is just two reception away from moving into sole possession of fifth place.
• Seven different FSU players have recorded an interception this season and four have multiple interceptions. Inside linebacker
Marcus Porter has a team-high four interceptions this season for the Falcons and
Jacob Jean-Charles,
Calvin Pringles and
Emanuel Ivey each have two.
• Porter leads the FSU defense with 58 total tackes, inlcuding five for a loss and a sack this season.
• FSU quarterback
Cooper Hibbs is completing 61 percent of his passes this season and has thrown for 2,004 yards and 15 touchdowns this season. Hibbs went seven weeks without throwing an interception before throwing his first of the season two weeks ago against UVa-Wise.
• Hibbs is currently third in school history with 5,377 yards through the air. He is also third in school history in both passing touchdowns (40) and completions (433).

Johnny Dearstine came to Fairmont in the fall of 2012 as an invited walk-on. He'll leave following this season as a school record holder.
Dearstine, a 5-9, 170-pound senior place kicker from Frederick, Md., booted a 28-yard field goal on the last play of the first half Saturday in FSU's 33-24 victory over Notre Dame. That field goal gives him eight for the season and 28 for his career – a new FSU record breaking the old mark of 27 set by Nathan White (1998-2001).
• For his career Dearstine is 28-of-46 on field goals (.608) and 108-of-117 on PATs (.923). He currently ranks second in FSU history in career made PATs behind White (132).
• In the Mountain East Conference, which is in its third year of existence, Dearstine ranks fourth in both career made field goals (20) and career made PATs (83).
A Look Inside The Statistical Rankings• For the season, FSU leads the Mountain East Conference in turnover margin with a plus-14. The Falcons' defense has recorded 13 interceptions and recovered seven fumbles, while the offense has lost just five fumbles and suffered just one interception this season. In addition to leading the league, FSU is also first in the country in turnover margin.
• FSU has also done a great job keeping their defense off the field this season, currently ranking 11th nationally and first in the country in time of possession.
• League-leading Shepherd University, which is unbeaten and nationally-ranked, is second in the conference this season in turnover margin at plus-10.
• The 2015 Rams lead the MEC in scoring (43.1 points per game) and passing (302.5 yards per game) and in total defense (290.9), rushing defense (97.0), passing defense (193.9) and scoring defense (16.9).
Scouting The Rams• Shepherd enters Thursday's matchup with Fairmont State with an 8-0 record and is currently ranked sixth in the country.
• The Rams are coming off a 44-10 win over West Liberty on Saturday afternoon in Shepherdstown.
• Shepherd has scored at least 41 points in all but one game this season (10/24 at Concord).
• Quarterback Jeff Ziemba, who has thrown for 2,264 yards and 19 touchdowns while only throwing two interceptions, leads the Ram offense.
• Over the past two seasons Ziemba has thrown for 4,512 yards, 37 touchdowns and only four picks.
• Allen Cross has totaled 559 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Shepherd ground attack this season. Jabre Lolley has a team-high 11 rushing touchdowns to go along with 467 yards to counter Cross in Shepherd's running back committee.
• The Rams defense is one of the top units in the country, only allowing 17 points a game and less than 300 yards of offense.
• Keon Robinson and James Gupton have each recorded 53 tackles apiece for the Rams this season.
• Shaneil Jeninks has 14.5 tackles for a loss on the season, including eight sacks as a force on the SU defensive line.
• Tre Sullivan leads Shepherd with three interceptions. Six different players have recorded and interception for the Rams this season.
